- 1 cup pumpkin pureƩ, canned or fresh cooked
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 9-inch pastry shell, unbaked
Directions:
Combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, and spices. Add beaten eggs and half-and-half. Blend well. Pour pumpkin mixture into prepared pie shell. BAke at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325°; bake 45 minutes longer, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.Tags:
